Prayer for our children [1]
Lord God, Mighty God, Powerful and Loving God, The GREAT I AM, protect and defend our children as they gather to learn. Keep them from harm and allow them to be safe so that they can freely open their minds to the wonders of Your universe. As they study all that is needed to become well rounded individuals, help them not to forget You. May they act in Your will, please keep them from temptation, and deliver them from evil. So that You may be glorified in all that they do. Lord, let it be so.
:pray:Keith, thanks for your wonderful prayer for our kids starting school this morning. I look forward to reading your prayers and praying in agreement with you. In fact, I created a new category just for “prayers” like this. I got up this morning at 6 AM to be sure the kids got up and ready. (Unlike Lou, I stayed up and blogged myself this morning.) Both of our kids had their “stupor time” too, as we talked about last night but everyone got to school on time. And now the house is quiet!
