Great and exciting things have been happening with the bus situation. We did get the bus a few weeks ago and moved it here to our house. We’ve been hard at work getting the remodeling going so we can start using the bus for traveling.

In lieu of a Banquet this year we will be having a fundraiser for the bus. Money raised this day will be used to help pay for the remodeling and any other expenses of the upcoming travel ministry.

The date of the fundraiser is Saturday, April 14, 2007. A Spaghetti Dinner will be served from 5:00 till 7:00 PM and a FREE Concert with Chalice and Puppets for the King will begin at 7:00 PM. The event will be held at Port Vue United Methodist Church, 1565 Washington Boulevard, Port Vue, PA. The dinner costs $8 per person in advance, $10 at the door (discount for children). There will be activities during the dinner such as "Name the Bus" contest, Silent Auction, Bus Tours, and more.

For those that cannot attend the event or those who want to help financially, donations may be mailed to The Well Ministries. You can also use PayPal to send your credit card or debit card donation via the internet. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

As a fundraiser for the bus, we’re having a "Name the Bus" contest on the day of the benefit concert. Here’s how you can help and how the contest will work. We need a few good names as possible choices for the bus. We’ll pick the best 3 names and have a "vote off" that day. Votes will be cast financially in that the name that gets the most donation will win.

If you have a good name to suggest, please send it to us. If we use your suggestion you may win a prize.

Our "snail mail" list has now reached over 1,000 addresses.

If you receive this email as well as the snail mail letter please let us know when you receive your snail mail letter. We’re trying to determine how long it takes for people to get the mail.

Many people have offered to be removed from our "snail mail" list to help save us a little money. But truthfully, removing a few names doesn’t do much. In fact we’ve added a few duplicate addresses to save even more on the postage. We can send pieces very inexpensively because of the quantity we’re sending and also because it’s being sent at a non-profit rate. If you get snail mail and have already read the information here, please pass the mailed piece on to a friend or your pastor to help us spread the word about our ministry.

The Well Ministries is sponsoring a new devotional email list studying the Names of God. It will begin on May 1st and continue weekly at first, possibly daily later. There is a list on our site that is more than 600 names and more are being added.

We’ve started a new website for the devotional: www.heshallbecalled.com. The site currently has some basic information about the Names of God and the devotions will appear there as they are emailed out.

We’re looking for people to help build the site. We need people to participate in discussion and some to write the devotions. If you are interested in helping, write to me at editor@heshallbecalled.com and I will send you the guidelines.

YOU WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE NEW LIST. You must follow this procedure to be added to the list. Be sure to do so before May 1st to receive the first email devotion.
