Goshen ongoing (part3) [0]

The ride home. Kris was able to get us a singing engagement two hours away from Goshen, but actually on the way home not a bad thing. I’m sure Lou thought differently because their Sunday morning service started at ten-thirty. We needed to be there at nine-thirty. We had to leave the Motor Lodge at seven am. (big concern for Lou, not being an “AM” kind a guy) We did get out on time and the trip was uneventful, at least the travel portion.

I must stop here and say thank you for all those who prayed for us that weekend and thank You God for hearing their prayers. The van (newly rebuild) work perfectly and got us there and back again.

We arrived in plenty of time to get set up, met Pastor Doug and his wife Chris and there was a friend of theirs that drove an hour to hear us and her name was Kris also. We had three Chris’ or should I say Chris, Kris and Kris. We had a Spirit filled morning, the presences of God was strong within that Community of Faith and I pray that God remains in that place for as long as He wills it. I believe that they were more of a blessing to us than we were to them. The morning spilled over into the afternoon and we had an opportunity to have lunch with Doug and Chris and Kris and her husband (I don’t know that I know his name and that is terrible, I’m sorry for my stupidity) and the children, four well behaved young men, two, to each family. Back on the road and on to Steubenville.

Again we arrived without concerns and Gary met us there. What a joy. To have him back with us and all singing and playing together. We spent the evening sharing and fellowshipping with the good folks there and then it was home to our own beds.

Thank You Lord God, Mighty God, Powerful and Loving God, The GREAT I AM. You got us to it and You saw us through it. Thank You.
