This was the second time we’ve done the contemporary worship service they sponsor the first Saturday of each month. Such a sweet spirit there. Three local churches have come together to support these services: Cheswick Presbyterian, Springdale Presbyterian, and Springdale Open Bible Churches and all three pastors were in attendance. This is what church is supposed to be — working together!
Keith was unable to be with us as he was back in McKeesport singing at his church. Emily filled in for him. She did a great job. So excited to hear some of her harmonies. She definitely has a gift.
Several people mentioned how “Greater Is He That Is In Me” blessed them. And I saw a few tears as we sang “Zoe’s Lullaby”.
After the service was over someone told Lou that last month when we were there he had prayed for a woman that needed knee surgery and afterwards her doctor canceled the surgery. She received a healing that night! Praise God!
Pastor David Carlisle from Springdale Presbyterian Church took our picture and I was hoping he’d send it to us so we can put it here.
Overall, it was a great night. We’ll be back there again in March!
